She fell in love again as he held her when she cried. Cried for the loss of her Doctor. The way he held her, the scent of him, so similar to the other him. His hair, his eyes, his smile, it was all him. In his arms she felt safe, she felt like this was where she belonged. She felt loved.
He had whispered those words in her ear. Those words she had been longing to hear since the day he had vanished from her life on this beach.
She clung to him, feeling his single heartbeat. He whispered words of comfort in her ear.
"I'm here. I'm here and I will never, ever leave you. I promise."
He repeated those words, and his voice made a shiver run down her spine, mad
You Are Not Alone"Doctor, what...what's this?" asked Rose, calling across the Tardis. Slightly startled, he looked up to see her holding a nondescript pocketwatch.
"Oh, that's just my pocketwatch!" he replied, vaulting over the banister and walking cooly up to her. "See, if I ever needed to...well, let's say, lay low for a while, this would hold all of my Time Lord memories and such. It's neat, really. It's got a perception filter, so I wouldn't see it as anything special, I wouldn't really even notice it. I'd be human, and keep aging, and it's a complicated process really, with lots of...sciency...stuff," with a bright smile, he flipped up his glasses and turned to go back to the controls. "SO, where to next? We could go to...oh, I dunno, anywhere." The smile still on his face, he stopped and turned back to look at Rose, who was gazing intently at the pocketwatch, looking troubled.
"I...wouldn't even...notice it?" she asked haltingly, gazing still at the watch.
"Sorry?" Jumping, Rose looked back up at
Tantrum Time Lord
"PLEASE Rose, oh please can we go in there, oh please!?"
"Come on Rose, just a look around won't hurt!?"
"I promise i won't overindulge myself, i'll just get one or two please!?"
"And anyway, don't you think that Amelia would like some too? Just for herself to enjoy like i do with mine, come on Rose, please!?"
"Please Rose please, please, please!?"
"Ow! What was that for?"
"You weren't listening to me and you were rambling."
"Oops, sorry love. What was it you were going to say?"
"I said that we could go in the bloody shoe store for your sneakers! You didn't have to be a baby about it, that's Amelia's job."
"Oh... i'm sorry, i'm so sorry."
"It's okay, now let's go in and get your precious sneakers before you die of a fit."
"I love you Rose Tyler."
"God forbid this one likes sneakers too."
"What is that supposed to... ROSE!"
StarsShe walks outside and finds him lying on the grass, staring at the night sky, humming gently. At the sound of her approaching, he leans up and turns his head to look at her, the smile on his face growing impossibly wide. She tries to smile back, but a part of her, the part of her, which still cannot believe this is real, stops her.
She does not know how to sort out the infinite variety of feelings, which is running through her. She is happy he is here, she really is, but a part of her cannot help but feel guilty. She feels as though she betrayed her other Doctor, by choosing this man. Not to mention the anger, at having been left behind again, without being given as much as a chance to say goodbye, not given the chance to choose, which life she would want.
Without a word, she lies down next to him and stares at the stars, remembering the years she spent in the TARDIS with him, going on wonderful adventures, saving planets and running. Suddenly, the Doctor puts his arm around her as if
DW: Sleeping TogetherHe could pinpoint the day, or rather night, it had all started, but he could not imagine the day he would not want it anymore.
The night it had started, had been a time for a rare nap, when she had suddenly shaken him awake, whispered his name over and over in a strangled, panicked voice. He had pulled her down to the bed, held her tight as she calmed down enough to finally tell him about the horrible nightmare about demons telling her she was going to die. She fell asleep in his arms that night and he smiled as he dozed off with her.
After that night, their nights together became more and more frequent, and he did not complain. He looked at his beautiful companion with a smile on his lips. Her head was resting on his chest, one hand grabbing his shirt, as though she was holding him in place, making sure he did not leave. Not that he would. He had never liked standing still, but having her with him like this, definitely made it worth it.
Those nights, he would stay awake and watch her.
Unforgivable Sin"NO!" The Doctor sat bolt upright with a desperate cry, abject terror shining in his wide eyes. His body was unbelievably tense and his stomach tied in a tight, binding knot. His breathing hitched and stopped as for an eternity of a moment he sat paralyzed in fear, startled and nearly swallowed by the darkness around him.
"Doctor?" His wife whispered beside him. Rose's voice seemed small, even insignificant in comparison to the deafening stillness and silence that assaulted the Doctor's mind. He instinctually glanced around the room to try and insist to his mind that it had all been a dream and that he was awake again, but his attention was still captured by the raw, unchecked panic that surged through his single heart at what he had just seen, experienced, and done again.
At once, even as he subconsciously recognized the secure room around him and Rose by his side, the pure horror of his dream rushed back upon him so fast and so hard that he nearly choked. He was
Sherlock X Cabin Pressure crossJohn adjusted the strap of his duffle bag on his shoulder as he stood in the line to board his plane. A 7-4-7, full of many people with so many different backstories, yet John knew that the whole trip to California in the United States, he would be completely and depressingly alone.
His doctor had ordered him on a vacation, a type of medicine. Something a simple pill wouldn't service. He had to get away from everything that connected him to Sherlock, but John knew this wouldn't help. In order to get him away from everything to do with Sherlock, they would have to cut out his heart. If it was up to John, he wouldn't be going on this stupid trip in the first place.
He glanced around at the speckled gray walls of the London airport one last time before stepping into the terminal and slowly making his way to the open doors of the aircraft. Lining against the cabin doors stood the crew of the craft, including the captain.
"Hello," He started cheerfully as John entered the plane, "My name's

Doctor Who:A Tear, Sarah Jane? The Doctor was strangely quiet that morning, his eyes closed and fingers on his temples as he sat, still as a Weeping Angel, at the breakfast table. Amy chewed her toast loudly and Rory seemed to slurp his tea; only River could rouse him from his stupor, but it brought out a bit of unnecessary anger.
"Stop! Please!" he yelled as River called "Sweetie!" in an obnoxious voice from the refrigerator. "I'm trying to think here!" River tried to pass it off as "Monday mopes" with a half-pitying smile, and was thus shocked when, around noon, London time, April 18th 2011, the Doctor slammed his fists on the table, upsetting Amy's drink; his eyes shot open and he was yelling, "No no no no no!" as he raced from the kitchen to the console; River and Rory followed casually behind, unperturbed by his mood. As he ran a hand through his hair, River came to his side and began to pull the levers of the TARDIS alongside him, asking him where he wanted to go and assuring their timely arrival
